what’s most frustrating to me is The Sims team has proven it doesn’t HAVE to be this way

they have a talented team capable of producing well-made items; all assets should meet the same standard of quality, there really doesn’t seem to be any excuses at this point 😭

I'm not one that normally tears the studio's work apart. I actually correct people that compliment me by putting maxis down, but this is pitiful.

The textures are so low quality, its like they wanted this kit to run on a 20yr old computer running Windows XP

It doesn't look bad from a distance, you're not supposed to play staring at the item that close up. The more detailed items are, the more lag is caused so they cut down detail on smaller, less significant items.
