The Sims Team has finally addressed the disturbing/nasty incest bug that’s plagued the game since the latest Sims 4 patch update. Many players are currently experiencing their sims having romantic wants for their family members (more specifically, siblings). The issue is being looked into and a fix will be coming sometime soon, yet no word on exactly when.
I just wanted to acknowledge that the Want to date a family member is something we know about, we’ve reproduced ourselves, we’re working on it. We’re looking to get it fixed ASAP, thanks for all the bug reports, we appreciate it. We’re of course working on the aging bug too.

To prevent bugs like that it’ll be a huge help to implement some deeper or new coding for family relationships and family trees. Its been long overdue to add step sibling/ step parent/ relative by marriage relationships etc.

This isn’t your fault, but for a multi-million collar company, it would be in their best interest to actually use extensive testing as part of the development process before finally releasing. It’s just part of diminishing risk of customer inconvenience. Bummer there’s no change.
