This week’s free patch update introduced customizable pronouns as an option for all simmers when creating/editing sims in CAS, but unfortunately with many updates comes a few hiccups. Several simmers on Answers HQ and many on Twitter, are now reporting significant performance impacts since this update (frame rate drops, freezing, etc.)
So, thanks for everyone that provided feedback. It seems the worst lags are indeed fixed. Of course the game still has lag, especially the build mode ones but the one that crept up after the pronoun patch seems to be fixed.

So far I'm getting a few positive reports so I think it might have actually fixed them.

Like Crin said, the game will still have lag and crashes for certain players/save files even after today's patch. This patch was to fix a very specific issue that was introduced recently.
