Following the recent maxis re-branding, a video clip posted by the Maxis team, could be hinting at something coming in the near future. About halfway through a video clip posted for “Our Story” on Maxis’ about page, a line reading “it’s time to signal our next revolution” is shown.

One of my first thoughts is, we know the next-generation sims title is in development. EA has confirmed this several times over the past few years and has done so again recently. It’s very possible this could be in regards to The Sims 5. Could an announcement be imminent even though it most likely is still in production?
